WHAT SPOONING FOR WORLD PEACE IS!

Started in December 2010, Spooning for World Peace began as one artist's vision of a BADASS map of cosplayers. The original idea had come as one to draw.

Well, come Megacon 2011, with a cast and crew of over forty people in attendance, the first SFWP photoshoot was a success. And in addition to looking like brilliant loons on the floor, everyone managed to raise over one hundred dollars for the Red Cross and their effort to aid Japan in their time of crisis. Now, looking for another round, we're back! Having learned plenty from the first go, we're here to kick ass, take names, and get a little too friendly with out fellow neighbors for the sake of helping the world and looking good while doing it!

Here is the Metrocon Version. Our location was much crappier than the one we were provided with at Megacon, especially for the photographers. We could not get a straight on shot, and we weren't even supposed to be up on the balcony we were on. Luckily we got enough permission for 5 minutes worth of photography.
