[Citizen]- Everyone back off. She’s using magic.
The pile stated to thin out. As soon as Brayen could see Eslin and Gwyn he dove and picked them up.
[Eslin]- Thanks Brayen.
Eslin turned to Fox.
[Fox]- What?!
[Eslin]- Look what you’ve caused.
Eslin was trying to hold her shirt together. Fox took off his shirt and gave it to her. He pulled another one out of his bag and put it on while Eslin took off hers and put on Fox’s.
[Eslin]- Thanks
[Fox]- It’s the least I could do. I wanted to give you something to remember me by.
Eslin looked at Fox.
[Eslin]- Why is that?
[Fox]- Well you want me to leave don’t you?
[Eslin]- Now why would I want that?
Fox looked at her surprised. She didn’t want him to leave. After all the trouble he and Gwyn had caused.
[Eslin]- Fox I never want you to leave.
Eslin smiled at him. Fox blushed. Brayen started flying north. He knew of a place where they could spend the night. Eslin was trusting Brayen so she could relax.
[Fox]- Eslin?
Eslin looked at fox.
[Eslin]- Yes?
[Fox]- I am truly sorry. I never meant to cause so much trouble. ; Me or Gwyn.
[Eslin]- I told you, i’m not mad at you. And even if I was, I couldn’t stay mad at you.
Fox just looked at her.
[Fox]- Why is that?
[Eslin]- I don’t know. I like having you around. Do you remember when I was sick last year?
Fox nodded.
[Eslin]- Well how did you expect me to take of myself?
[Fox]- I didn’t. I took card of you.
[Eslin]- Exactly. You take care of me. Even when i’m not sick. I ever thanked you for it.
[Fox]- don’t worry about it. I can’t help but worry about you. Being sick I s a minor set back. You’re dangerous and reckless and when you’re not yelling at me about it you’re having fun.
Eslin laughed
[Eslin]- I am kind of a hypocrite aren’t I?
Fox nodded. He crawled over and sat next to Eslin.
[Fox]- So where are we going
[Eslin]- I don’t know. Brayen?
[Brayen]- North. Not too much farther.
A city appeared on the horizon. Eslin looked at it stunned.
[Eslin]- Its huge Brayen!
Brayen smiled.
[Brayen]- There’s a friend here. His name is Angel. He’ll help us for now.
[Fox]- We can’t go there!
Eslin turned to fox.
[Eslin]- Why?
[Fox]- Angel is…
Fox sighed
[Fox]- My brother.
Eslin looked at fox confused.
[Eslin]- I didn’t know you had a brother.
[Fox]- I didn’t want you to.
[Eslin]- Why?
Fox looked at Eslin
[Fox]- I didn’t want you to because we haven’t talked in a while. And don’t ask why because i’m not going to tell you.
[Eslin]- I won’t ask you.
[Brayen]- were still going
[Fox]- Fine. Fine. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Brayen began his decent. Eslin rolled her eyes at fox.
[Fox]- What?!
Brayen landed outside the city gates.
[Brayen]- There’s a dragon corral on the other side but no entry to the city from there, ill fly over you and lead you to his house.
Eslin and fox jumped off Brayen. Gwyn followed. Brayen took off and flew a little farther north. Eslin and fox followed him as he zigzagged in the sky. At long lat he stopped and hovered over a little place
[Brayen]- This is it. I have to go now
[Eslin]- Thanks Brayen.
